Could Tengu possibly be a playable race in Skulls & Shackles?

Skull & Shackles

can anyone having a hand in creating the AP i have been most excited for answer said question before the players paplet comes out?? or is that "you have to wait" kind of thing. i only ask because the passage in the Inner Sea World Guide.

The majority of those who dwell in the Shackles are
human, although half-orcs and half-elves are more
common than elsewhere. Tengus dwell in large numbers
in the region, with many of the cities having sizable tengu
districts known as rookeries—having a tengu “mascot” on
board is thought by many pirates to bring good luck, due to
a popular local superstition that tengus “soak up” bad luck.

if so i hope to Cayden my GM allows it. so i can be said Tengu

Sovereign Court

There is nothing specifically calling out tengus as a possible player race in Skull & Shackles, though as you posted, tengus are relatively common in the Shackles. Ultimately, of course, it's up to your GM as to what races are or are not allowed as player races.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I would allow them, they are quite common in the shackles and fun to play (i've had 2 of them). my current character is a tengu inquisitor of sarenrae that calls himself "The Crow" and likes to self narrate in a quiet menacing voice (think will arnett, i can totally nail the voice to:). he will be for the jade regent tho (kicking off friday, i'm so excited!!!).

thank you rob

and captain, that sound awesome
