We have a player that wants to play a tiny fey race.
GM is inclined to allow.
Just wondering about some potential problems.
If we find a magic dagger, that will be longswrord sized for the tiny fey and would need to be proficient in long sword to use properly. Is that correct?
Things like magic armor, cloak, shield, hat, etc... we always say they can be used by both medium and small. Would a tiny be able to use them?
Think the player can handle the PC well. Just a bit concerned with the gear.

For every size category a race is smaller then a weapon, the effort to wield it increases by one step. Light -> One-Handed -> 2 Handed -> Too big to wield. There is also a -2 penalty on attack rolls for each size category you are away from the weapons.
A medium-sized dagger (a dagger sized for elves, humans, etc.) is a light weapon when wielded by medium-sized creatures, a 1-handed weapon for small creatures, and a 2-handed weapon for tiny creatures. A medium creature uses a medium dagger with no penalty, a small creatures uses a medium dagger with a -2 penalty, and a tiny creature uses a medium dagger with a -4 penalty. (If you aren't proficient with the weapon, thats also an additional -4 penalty)
Size and Magic Items
When an article of magic clothing or jewelry is discovered, most of the time size shouldn't be an issue. Many magic garments are made to be easily adjustable, or they adjust themselves magically to the wearer. Size should not keep characters of various kinds from using magic items.
There may be rare exceptions, especially with race-specific items.
Armor and Weapon Sizes: Armor and weapons that are found at random have a 30% chance of being Small (01–30), a 60% chance of being Medium (31–90), and a 10% chance of being any other size (91–100).
Magic weapons and armor don't resize. Magical clothing and jewelry do.
