Initiative Pad for iPad

Technology

Sczarni

Hi,
I have been fooling around with nerdery, and wrote an initiative pad that can be used on a mobile device (optimized for iPad).

Initiative Pad

Features include:
* adding/removing individual PCs
* round tracking
* auto-reorder based on roll (and init modifier on ties)
* clear all rolls

I didn't do much documentation, but if you have a question, lemme know.

Down the road features include:
* Drag to re-order
* Delay functionality

If you are interested in the source, its in github.com.

Bug tracking can be found here

Any and all feedback is helpful, even if you say "this sucks" :)

Silver Crusade

Can this be implemented for an Iphone?

I use my ipad to pull up monster stats and other book stuff. This would be awesome if it could go on my Iphone.

Sczarni

it works on the iPhone (mostly).

it does save the current PCs, round, and such when you leave the page.

the only problem is that when you add a player, you have to scroll to the top to actually save it. some dumb window thing, but if you can work around it, rock on. :)

Grand Lodge

Any chance you might make a version that either runs on android? Kindle, specifically would be great, but android in general would be good enough for me.

Sczarni

It is webpage, so try it on an android. It may just work. Let me know if it does/doesn't.

It even works in chrome & firefox (i think)

Dark Archive

My tech Fu is weak, so I'll need my girl to explain how to run this.

Your message board entry was the last one I saw before I lost acces to Paizo, I just wanted to say thanks for sharing.

Since I use my iPad while I am a DM or as a player, I wonder how fast I can switch over from your initiative tracker to my notes for the games.

Sczarni

When you switch to a PDF or different app on your iPad, the initiative pad should save everything and display it properly when you return to the page. If it doesn't, please let me know.
