Pathfinder Chronicler - Skill required but not a class skill? (Bonus Q: ability change?)

Rules Questions

Am I reading it right that this prestige class requires Profession (scribe), yet doesn't have that on its own class skill list? Seems kind of silly to make one of the core traits of the class not a class skill...

Also, I am taking this from a Bard that has an alternate feature instead of Bardic Knowledge (the "Streetwise" feature from the Street Performer archetype,) and am wondering if the Pathfinder Chronicler, which is fairly well steeped in "knowledge" would have me continue progression in Streetwise, or would I start Bardic Knowledge as first level? (So as a Bard-Street Performer 6, Pathfinder Chronicler 4, would I have +5 to the Streetwise skills of Bluff, Disguise, Knowledge (local,) etc; or would I have +3 to those, and +2 to all Knowledges?)

Dark Archive

Every class but the barbarian gets Profession as a class skill.

I think that most approaches to this class will already have Profession as a class skill, so it may not matter unless you enter from Barbarian.

You'd have +3/+2.

Ah, duh... First campaign using Pathfinder rather than standard d20 3.5, so spaced on the fact that once you have it as a class skill, that's all that matters.

Thanks!
