Monster Creation

Advice

So i want to make a fallen cleric for an adventure, im thinking of using a Huecuva (seemed natural). So my question is is the related level thing still in effect (i think im missing it) [related classes are a one for one basis, non-related are a 1:2 ratio] and would cleric be related?

It does not have any spells so it won't be its key class. Which means that two first cleric levels will increase its CR to 3 with +1 to CR for each Cleric level afterwards.

Note that huecuva has abyssmally low Intelligence score (Int 4) - it does not need more for casting divine spells but it will use rather bluntly and without any hint of finesse.

I see, any suggestions on what else i could use? im looking for a thassilonian edge to things.

Undead fallen cleric? Maybe a quasi-lich? (i.e. use lich template stats without phylactery and rejuvenation abilities and paralyzing touch replaced with huecuva's disease, plus constant disguise self similar to huecuva). Or just use skeletal champion template (but ignore the line about the way of calculating CR, it is obviously wrong as the skeletal champion derives most of it's capabilities from class levels if it has more than 1 class level, instead treat it as +1 CR template).
Another option could be Juju Zombie but it is more physically oriented.

And finally, there is always Worm That Walks! I have to send one against my party.
