I'm the creator of Dungeon Mapp, I'd be happy to answer any questions you have. We have solved the bug of crashing on save, it was only for people who were using a new version and trying to save mapps they had created with an older version. If you're worried about it, the free version allows you to save mapps I think, so you can try it out there.
