Paladin Archetypes and Smite Evil Reduction

Hello,

I'm wondering if you can combine two archetypes that change a class feature, but to the exact same change.

For example, both the Hospitalier and the Sacred Servant Paladin archetypes both change Smite Evil from a 1/4/7... use per day path to a 1/7/13... use per day path. That's the only conflict both archetypes have with each other. RAW, you wouldn't be able to, but if both archetypes share the same altered class feature (in this case, the same reduction in Smite Evil uses), I do not see a reason why it couldn't be done.

Thoughts?

RAW no. Any conflict between archetypes is a conflict.

If you have a GM that says, "I don't care, go for it," then it's fine.

I was sorta wondering this for PFS more than anything else. I'd allow it in my home games if it ever came up, but in a more official setting, juuuust hoping that I could combine the two.

This makes me a sad panda.

For PFS the answer is absolutely no. If two archetypes contact the same class feature even for identical changes, they can not be combined.
