Two questions here.
I'm going to be buying the beginner box shortly and i have some friends interested in playing, however one player has asked if there is a sorcerer available, at the moment there isnt but paizo has released details for the barbarian so any idea if they will be doing more?
The same player also wanted to know if they could play an anthropromorphic character for when we start a full campaign after the beginner box, specifically a fox, so is there any rules for anthro characters to use in pathfinder?

AFAIK there are no plans to release any more classes. If you want to allow your player to be a Sorcerer, you'll have to allow them to use material outside of the Beginner Box. On the up-side, if they know about sorcerers, they likely have a little bit of experience with RPGs, and are probably going to be fine with being a little more 'advanced' than some of the other players.
Alternatively, he could play a wizard and simply describe himself as a sorcerer. :)
As for the anthro fox, well, there is that book, but there's already a fox race in Pathfinder! The Kitsune. If you're again okay with him using stuff outside of the BB material, the Kitsune is a good choice. If not, just tell him to apply the elf's stats, and then describe himself as a fox-person. No big deal.

Craig, try the Pathfinder Reference Document, hosted by Paizo on this very website. Here's a link:
http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/
It's basically all the main rulebooks, but text-only; no awesome illustrations or layout. However, it does allow you to look at most, if not all, of the races and classes without having to buy the books. So if you just want to make a class without having to buy the Core Rulebook, check it out.
More relevant to your question, the sorcerer is found here:
http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/classes/sorcerer.html#_sorcerer
I hope this helps.
EDIT: As to your second question, it appears you answered it yourself. Pathfinder doesn't have as wide an array of interesting races as it does classes, but there's still quite a few. Worst case scenario, just fluff-text it: Give the character the stats and abilities of, say, an elf or half-elf, but describe it as some anthropomorphic creature. The game stats work out fine, and you still have an anthropomorphic race.

Anthro what? There are a few that already exist.
Anthro is basically a humanoid animal.
And if you reffering to beginner box follow up adventures what ones are there? i downloaded the beginner box bash demos but they are very short, looking for longer ones to get the players to lvl 5 if they wish to
