can you use beguilers gift to get some one to consume a delayed blast fireball or other harmful action?
suppose i cast delayed blast fireball and give it to a bard who walks up and using beguilers gift says "here buddy, eat this its great"
if the target has no idea its a spell about to explode does he have a chance to refuse other than his will save?
what if the DBF gem is stuffed in a wad of bread?
can you give them a vile of poison to drink or make a druid use a metal shield?

Hmm. I'm going to say no.
Beguiler's Gift forces the subject to interact with the offered item in a way that befits the item. A potion is consumed, a ring is donned, a sword is wielded, etc. You could not, for instance, force a creature to don a potion, swallow a sword, or wield a ring.
Since the bead created by delayed blast fireball isn't something you normally eat, I don't think the target would eat it. Perhaps if it was suitably glamered into looking edible, but then they'd get a save to notice the glamer.
In all likelihood, they'd probably throw the bead, since that's what you do with the bead.
Edit- Stuffed into a piece of bread? I might allow that, but it wouldn't be automatic. They'd probably have a chance to notice part of the bread is inedible and avoid that part.
Poison would be legit, provided they don't realize it's poison. Otherwise I think they'd apply it to their weapon, rather than drink it (which might affect them anyway, if they don't have Poison Use).

what about the druid with a metal sword/shield question?
personally I feel as if the DBF if totally wrapped in a bitesized morsle of food would just be popped in the mouth either setting it off or swallowed (especially if the creature is large.
but i respect your view on the matter.
if the DBF is consumed or lets just say its placed in some ones pocket.
how might this effect how the spell resolves?
no save? penalty to save? increased damage? instant death?
no effect at all?
