Request for better graphic distinction between read and unread threads

Website Feedback

Hi,

I've noticed that the distinction (and perhaps I'm only imagining one! ;-) between 'read' and 'unread' threads is really subtle. And if I'm imagining there's a difference would you please be so kind as to add one?

Thanks!

Take care,

Harry (whose eyes are not as young as they used to be :-D)

YES PLEASE !!!!!

My old eyes are having the same problem.

There's a distinction other than the "(27 new)" marker?

Yeah there's a teensy difference. Threads with no new posts are displayed in a very slightly lighter shade of blue.

Exactly.

And on my LCD monitors, I find myself bobbing back and forth. "Have I read that one? Have I not read it? I can't tell!"

I second the request for a contrast that's a bit LESS subtle; as it stands now, on some machines I can't see any difference at all.

Oh! I've seen that, but I always just assumed that was how you designated visited links, and didn't even consider a connection to post activity.
