Kingmaker Book 3+ as a Wildshaping Druid

Kingmaker

Hey there,

my group is currently near the end of book 2 and I am thinking about switching my Cleric to a Wildshaping Druid.
Due to the fact that most of the good forms (Megaraptor etc pp.) are all large I have the question whether the later Dungeonized Encounters are mostly inside 5ft broad corridors or more open?

Because if its 5ft all the time you will not be able to pounce, get a -4 on everything all the time, which is effectively killing the build.

Any experiences?

The dungeons in Book 3-4 won't really be an issue for size. Book 5 will present some problems in indoor encounters, and book 6 should be fine.

So how bad are these problems?

Bad like ZOMG YOU ARE FUBAR or more like... well its suboptimal :)

I plan on doing a Druid with a Bard Archer Leadership Cohort riding on its back... heh

Slightly sub optimal, but earth elemental form is always the bomb diggity and the majority of encounters are still outdoors.

Also that build is ridiculous, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Of course you don't have to wild shape into just one thing. I suggest keeping a list of effective options for different situations.
