Eidolon Sting / Tail Slap

Rules Questions

I'm being lazy and not searching atm...

Can a single tail utilize both these attacks in the same round?
Just curious if there's a beastiary precedent similar to Gore/Bite.

I don't see why not.

I did see that you had asked this around the end(?) of the playtest, but didn't really get any answers.

I guess if no one doing PFS has had an issue doing this then it's legal, but it seems that usually the rules say what you CAN do rather than can't... and while I will readily abuse any rule I can(such as gore/bite on the same head), I also acknowledge the right of anyone to say it's a little bit too far to use the same appendage for 2 attacks during the same round.

Logistically, I think it works, but I'm less confident about RAW or RAI.

edit: to be more clear, I don't see any problem with HAVING both on the same tail, only potentially with USING both at the same time

I am not aware of any bestiary creature with both a tail slap and a sting attack.

That said as GM I would not object to player having both (and using both) on a given tail as I think its generally a sub optimal choice.
