I thought that I read in a couple advice threads that druids can gain bow proficiency worshiping Erastil. Where are the rules for that?
Also I thought I saw somewhere that Animal Shaman's can apply templates to decrease or increase the CR of their summoning for their totems. Where are the rules for that, too?
Do you know if anyone has updated a druid guide to include the animal shamans? Because I don't think Treantmonk has them.
Basically, I'm looking for advice on optimizing a potential druid for Kingmaker, but my first questions appear more rules related.

I believe it's part of the Erastil article in Pathfinder Adventure Path #32: Rivers Run Red.

The bear shaman entry in the APG describes the rules common to all of the animal shaman archetypes, including the templates that can be added to creatures as a way of "fleshing out" summoning lists.
The "quick rules" for summoning young animals is essentially a -2 to hit dice, attacks, saves and damage. There is a more stringent way to apply the template too. For my druid I've created summoning cards for the regular and templated creatures to make play faster.
There are some races which gain bow proficiency and the heirloom weapon trait I believe will also grant it.
It makes zero sense to me that druids don't get bow proficiency, but there you go...
