Archetypes that replace a proficiency gained and multi-classing

When multi-classing with an archetype that replaces a proficiency gained by both classes, does the order matter ?

Example:
Character level 1 takes Fighter with Lore Warden archetype, replacing shield, medium and heavy armor proficiencies. At Character level 2, takes Bard with Arcane Duelist archetype, regaining shield proficiency (except tower shields).

If the character did this in reverse order, would the level of Lore Warden taken at second level cause shield proficiency to be lost from both the level of fighter AND the level of bard, or just that gained by the (replaced) level of fighter ?

It only replaces proficiency gained from what it is replacing. If you get it from a second source, you get it.

Like a wizard multiclassing to fighter, you get all the weapon and armour proficiencies that each class (modified by its archetype) grants you. A fighter archetype doesn't change your bard class abilities, so you get shield proficiency (but not tower shields).
