Diabolist Screwing with a Paladin

Advice

So im playing a LE Wizard / Diabolist (not a diabolist yet... but heading there). Im wanting to screw with our holyer the thou paladin. My Arcane bond is currently an Amulet of Undetectable Alignment....

I am thinking Evil Twisted Wishes, by Summoning a Contract Devil or a Genie. To Pass this by on him, im thinking an Illusionary script or something on a blank Parchment to make it look like im reading a wish scroll.

Any Idea's?

Has any of this been cleared? Also a bit suspect on why the DM would allow both in the same party. I really don't see screwing with them out of the blue as a way to make the game more enjoyable for anyone. If you're wanting this for story and not just to dick with another pc talk it over with them and come up with ideas. But doing it just to screw with someone is not a good idea.

nah the DM will of course have to clear it. I have Played Rise, and DM'ed it so my background this time around is that im Trying to get to the Rune Lord to Usurp him. Im just using Demonic Help to do so... that way if i meta game slip... i can try to write it off as researched knowledge. I would never try to do this with out talking to the DM (the paladin is my roomie, and we go back and forth with stuff like this lol)

That's good just wanted to check. I frequent /tg/ so I've come across many stories of people trolling so I want to make sure that's not the case. Working the lawful angle could be interesting. Maybe try to catch him in a situation similar to cu chulains's.

Well i came in late (cause i was not gonna play)... i figured i would make a contract to have him sign (im gona wear an abador holy symbol), stating if i join i want equal share of loot, but i will make them magic items 40% off (thats 15% profit for me with hedge mage talent). Then when i can get an infernal contract made i will "Re-write the contract" and make it long winded and a sign here here and here.... throwing an infernal contract in the middle somewhere... or magically hidden... etc.

EDIT: missed this part... gthey saved me from thistletop

Leave it to the DM to screw with his wish as he see's fit.

My Angel: Contract Devil... 3 wishes for the Soul of a Paladin of Iomadae.
1 wish to him, 2 to me. ;)

Just wondering, how exactly do you plan on getting your hands on a Contract Devil, placing it in front of a paladin without it getting killed, then having him sign the contract with his truename.

The contract is a supernatural racial ability, not a magical item it holds, so without houseruling, it can't just give it to you.

There's also the fact that the paladin and the party will learn what you did once the paladin signs, with his soul bound to hell, he'll lose his class features. Why they would keep a player who did something like that in their group, is beyond my understanding.

IF you still gonna go with it, what you need to get done is;
Get a hold of a Contract Devil, minimum lvl 6th spell in the range of Planar Ally, but of arcane nature.

Persuade the Devil to make a contract and help you get the paladin to sign it, followed by magical disguise, and some way to fool the paladins Detect Evil. Then come up with a very compelling reason for the paladin to sign the contract with his truename, which, if he doesn't, and you call him on it, seems VERY suspicious.

IF that works, the paladin gets three wishes, non for you. The contract is tailor-made for the paladin, and again, would require some houseruling to pass any wishes onto you.

Don't. It's a jerk move. Even playing a Evil PC in a game where you know there's a paladin is a jerk move.

Now, if you have cleared this with the other player, the paladin, then fine.

Why on earth would I want to help you with screwing with another player? Why on earth would a DM let you bind/call/summon ANYTHING that grants wishes before extremely high levels (if at all)? Why on earth, if given that kind of power, would you squander it to screw with another PC rather than use it to your direct benefit in some way?

So many questions, yet so little care I have to find out the answers!

Yea, hate to join in the chorus, but this sounds like a really jerky thing to do to another player.

I would have to agree as well -- you shouldn't try to screw over your fellow players. However, in a game where you have characters who are open about their philosophies (as in our game, where we have 3 chaotic neutral PCs in a party that includes a paladin), the paladin quickly learned never to let the chaotic neutral PCs guard prisoners, since said prisoners had a nasty tendency to get killed while trying to escape.

Frankly, I think your DM made a mistake in letting you play a character that the paladin would not have been willing to adventure with if he had been unable to conceal his alignment.
