My group is still in the first adventuring area, but because I play on a virtual table top I really have to analyze everything and do a lot of prep work. I noticed this contradiction in the last area of Brinewall legacy.

Spoiler:

On Kikonu's treasure it states:
...and a darkwood-and-silver disc decorated with an intricate etching of Brinewall under the noonday sun. This disc radiates faint transmutation magic, and unknown to Kikonu, is one of two crests required to access Brinewall Castle’s subterranean vaults (area W1).

On Nindinzego's treasure it states:
...a darkwood-and-silver disc decorated with an intricate etching of Brinewall under the midnight moon. This disc radiates faint transmutation
magic and is one of two crests needed to access Brinewall Castle’s vaults (area W1). Kikonu gave Nindinzego this disc as proof of his friendship, telling the fiend that it was one of two keys needed to access the vault.

Now you could argue that Kikonu knew the crest he gave was one part of the key but didn't know that the crest he had was the other part. I personally don't think that makes as much sense. The reason he didn't get the treasure down there is because he didn't find the secret door inside the vault.

That does not make much since. I would make them two parts of a two lock system. One being a crest, and the other being ______ that looks nothing like a crest. That way someone could have both and never know they had a way to unlock the vault.

Oops...

Spoiler:
that's an error that slipped through development that the lazy author of said piece forgot to account for after he changed things around to explain why Kikonu hasn't robbed the vault or found out about the royal seal hidden right beneath his feet. I meant to revise the second part of the disk to say that Kikonu gave Nindinzego the disk as proof of his friendship, telling the fiend that it was an old relic that was quite valuable.

Sorry about that!

Thats no problem at all. All in all, I am very impressed with Jade Regent. The back-story to all the creatures in Brinewall Legacy is awesome. You are making me like Golarion more and more.
