Ok so similar bonuses i.e. Competence Bonuses don't stack. Racial and Competence would. So would Skill focus perception and a Rangers Favored Terrain bonuses stack? Just curious.

I believe both bonuses are untyped, in which case they would stack.
Untyped bonuses are rarer but they stack (as in any bonus that does not specifically say what kind it is). Circumstance bonuses stack as well, methinks. Just about everything else does not stack if it is the same kind, instead you just take the highest.
Untyped bonuses, dodge bonuses, racial bonuses and most circumstance bonuses stack with themselves. (So additional dodge bonuses are always good, which is why not many random things give them.) Everything else does not stack with a bonus of the same type.
