Metal Value

I am trying to build a treasure horde for my game. I want to include ingots of rare metals like Mithral and Adamantine. What I can't find is a GP value for just metal. Can any one point me in the right direction? thanks

If you check the equipment section it tells you the price per pound. Incidentally it is the same as the coin value. Mithral is not a coin used for currency so you have to decide that one for yourself.

Example:
50 gold coins weighs one pound.
50 gold coins is worth 50gp
1 pound of gold is worth 50 gp.

Mithril is priced as a "other items" at a price of 500gp per pound. Its in the equipment section. Adamantine is more expensive so I would just extrapolate from that. Adamantine seems to be about 2x as expensive, maybe less but harder to work. The comparison isn't the same across item types so eyeball it. I would really just suggest picking values for "raw" "unforged" chunks and tell the players what they are worth. That way if they say its to low you can fall back on the price of processing and working them.
