As you have seen from today's blog, the rules for Sanctioned Modules are changing. However, I am very aware of conventions, game stores, and other scheduled game days that have placed this module on their events calendar.

The season's metaplot was concepted under the old rules, and before I arrived here at Paizo, and I agree that it is important to allow any players that want to experience the full storyline for Season 3 to have that opportunity.

So, for The Ruby Phoenix Tournament module only, I am grandfathering this module and allowing play under the old rules for the next 6 weeks. The old style Chronicle sheet with the different tiers of wealth, as long as the old instruction sheets, will be available for download shortly and available until March 15. On March 16, the module will fall under the new rules as written in Guide 4.1.

I know this won't please everyone. However, I see it as a good compromise to those who have been looking forward to playing this module for many months but do not have a character of levels 10-12.

An excellent compromise. Thank you very much for the consideration you have given this. PFS is in good hands with you at the helm.

Thank you graciously, Micheal, for listening to the disappointed fans and making an excellent compromise. In another thread, I suggested 4 weeks of amnesty for playing under the old rules, you gave us 6 weeks. Kudos, sir!

Thank you! We just finished Quest for Perfection tonight, so this will be exciting to be able to play. A great compromise.

Thank you! Now I just have to either run it or get one of the other local GMs to run it where I can play it....

Well I wont be able to play now because I'm not available to join our group again for about 14 weeks. But it is fair and I thank you for that.

Proto, there's always online play for a circumstance such as this. It's not that hard to add a player via Skype, or even run the whole thing online. Maybe your GM will be open to that idea?

Hey -- good call Mike. This will rescue our abllity to run this module at local Conventions next month as a consequence.

Big Thumbs Up.
