Can Qinggong and Zen Archer monk archetypes stack?

By a strict reading of the rules: no.
The Zen Archer modifies Tongue of the Sun and Moon and Diamond Body, which the Qinggong Monk could replace with a Ki power.
Though a reasonable GM should allow it.

Sczarni

It's hotly debated whether Qinggong stacks with every other archetype or none of them.

I am i'm the all camp, because how I view the strict reading you don't need to adjust anything. As stuck you can always have the ability that needs to be replaced by simply not replacing it with qinggong so it is there to be replaced by the other archetype.

Not quite. This line is the important part:

Quote:

This replaces the monk class ability the qinggong monk gives up for this ki power.

If the monk doesn't give up an ability for a ki power, then no ability is replaced. The only restriction on combining archetypes is you can't replace the same ability twice.

This means you can take the Quinggong Monk archetype, choose to never replace any ability, and end up with an archetype that doesn't replace any monk abilities, and thus one which can be combined with anything.

If you chose to replace Slow Fall with Throw Anything, you end up with an archetype that only replaces Slow Fall, and can be combined with anything which does not replace Slow Fall.
