Skaven and ratfolk

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I stumbled upon the ratfolk race and found them very intriguing. I soon cam to realize how closely they resembled Skaven, in my opinion anyways, and thought about how some of the heroes could be stated out. So i brainstormed and this is what I came up with.

Ikit Claw: Alchemist

Throt the Unclean: Vivisectionist Alchemist

Skweel Gnawtooth: Beast Master Ranger

Queek Headtaker: Barbarian/cavalier (his superstition, rage, and that he is a glory hog fit this nicely but lack of a mount is iffy)

Tretch Craventail: Cad fighter/Rogue

Lord Skrolk: Cleric perhaps an oracle

Deathmaster Snikch: Rogue/Assassin

Thanquol: Wizard or Sorceror / loremaster
Boneripper: Flesh Golem

Any ideas or opinions?

Skaven are one of my favorite warhammer armies. I have a bunch of plague monks I use for rat creatures (and have converted one into a tengu!) and have some rat ogres that are awesome.

I don't actually play warhammer though so I'm not up on all the individual characters.

Yeah,I love me some Skaven and Ratfolk would be fun to play.In my homebrew setting I am working on I will have a Skaven/Ratfolk race based on Warhammers Skaven and Scarred Lands Slitheren. A good source book is Vigil Watch Warrens of the Ratmen

I've been looking for Tengu minis unsuccessfully for some time. Is this a difficult conversion? Love to see a pic!

Leaving a zombie here to keep an eye on the verminous horde. you can never be too careful with skaven, after all.

I just sold off my Skaven army early last year, it was HUGE!! all old school minis. My main block with my screaming bell was 200 clanrats big.

I had 2 screaming bells 4 doom wheels. All the heroes and just a ton of skaven minis.Sad part is they never reached their potential and stayed unpainted 8(

Kenku Warrior Mini

Kenlu Rogue Mini

I have the latter. It's awesome.

Thanks, RD. Those are nice-looking. But I should have been more specific:

I've been looking for a metal, paintable Tengu miniature for quite some time. :)

My current army has around 80 units, but the daunting task of assembling and painting that many skaven has caused them to sit on my bookshelf un-built for over a year.

Liberty's Edge

I'm only familiar with one Skaven hero from my time playing Mordheim, but I'd say the Skaven steam-borg assassin, Veskit, would probably be a Vivisectionist/Ninja/Gun Tank.
