Order shipments running behind?

My apologies if this isn't the correct place . . . I'm confident you'll move it to the proper place if it's not though. ;)

I'm curious if there's been some shipments running behind or just some mix-ups at the warehouse. I'm know that Jade Regent part five had some issues, but I got notification that it was being shipped about six days ago, yet every time I try and look at the tracking for it I get an unavailable message come up.

In addition, I placed an order for the Bestiary 3 on Jan. 18th, but have gotten no shipping date for that yet, which is really unusual for it to sit so long. This is my second go for that, as the first one that I ordered back in December never got delivered to me (though UPS tracking says it did on Dec. 30th, despite the fact I was home that whole day on Christmas break but never got a knock on my door).

Really, I'm just checking in here because I'm a bit paranoid after losing that last order. I had gift certificates and the additional 10% off in January to really cut down on the cost (I'm also PF advantage) a lot, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing something. I know it's not your fault at all that the first order got botched somehow--UPS still hasn't gotten back to me on that score, but I'm just curious if things are running behind on all the shipments there, and when I can expect to see these things coming my way.

We had some inclement winter weather last week that shut our warehouse down. We were able to print off the labels for many orders which generated the tracking number, but we were unable to have them picked up until this week. Likely tracking information will kick in soon.

The Bestiary 3 is in the pending picking and packing queue.

We hope to be fully caught up with all packages out the door by Friday.

By the way, which order was lost by UPS? Did Paizo customer service submit a trace with them for you?

I was sent a shipment email by Paizo that had a tracking link with it on December 22nd. On January 13th, when I still had not received the package (I was giving plenty of leeway, being that I ordered it during the holidays), I checked the trace and it said that the package was confirmed delivered on Dec. 30th. However, as I stated above, I was home all day (it being during Christmas break) on the 30th, and no one knocked on my door with a package. I sent UPS an email about it, but I've heard no response back from them. I've pretty much chalked that one up to lost cause . . .

Didn't figure to bother you with it since you'd shipped it, thus fulfilling your end of the bargain. ;)

Generally UPS's response is for the customer (you) to ask the shipper (us) to put a trace/claim on the package. If they aren't able to track it down, they let us know so we can get you a new one.

I've marked the new Bestiary 3 order that you placed 1940703 as a replacement copy and you will not be charged when it ships.

The Holiday code was removed since the order is now free. However, the code can get a little funky when its applied to an order and then removed after its submitted. If you end up wanting to use it on another order and it doesn't want to apply it, just let us know and we can fix the order on our side.

Also, part of the issue as to why they might not have responded is that with the standard postal delivery, UPS Mail Innovations (actually a different company than regular UPS) starts with the package and then hands it off to the local post office for delivery and in this case, the package went missing after Mail Innovations handed it off to the post office.

Out of curiosity, I used a $25 gift certificate given me to purchase the second Bestiary 3 . . . will I get that refunded as well to be used on a later purchase or no?

I completely understand if it's not, as it appears I kinda botched this one in the end. ;) I'm just curious if I need to try and track down that code again if it hasn't already gone to the permanent recycle bin!

It hasn't been charged since we haven't shipped it yet. If you look on your My Account page you should see the little store credit box that says: "You have a store credit balance of $25.00 that you may apply toward future purchases." So you should be all set.
