Am I correct to assume that Ancestral Arms Half-Elf alternate racial trait only confers the training in said weapon and not the actual weapon? For instance, you learned how to train in the family tradition of the "bastard sword" but you weren't handed down the family heirloom bastard sword. I hope that makes sense...Thanks.
That is true, you gain proficiency in the selected weapon, but not ownership of said weapon.
