So, I made my first adventure pitch, "The Sculptor and the Dragon," back on January 11, but I haven't gotten an automated receipt message. I'm wondering if I did something wrong.

I've tried resending the email (to [e-mail]) but that hasn't worked.

Is there something obvious I'm missing?

Nope, you're golden. Currently they're super backlogged, so don't expect to hear anything back for a while. Example: my submission from October 31st, 2011 is still waiting to be rejected ;)

Although, I did receive an email explaining that, given the amount of submissions, etc, it was going to take a long time (many months) to get around to mine. So it sounds odd that you did not receive an email as well. I would sit and wait, give it another week or two. If you hear nothing back then resubmit and explain.

Yeah, I sent in two in October 2011 and still haven't heard anything. At this point, I assume their answer is "no thanks." Still, it would have been nice (and professional) to have received something either way.
