Recently on FOX News former Senator Chris Dodd said (as quoted on news site TechDirt), "Those who count on quote 'Hollywood' for support need to understand that this industry is watching very carefully who's going to stand up for them when their job is at stake. Don't ask me to write a check for you when you think your job is at risk and then don't pay any attention to me when my job is at stake,"

Tried, but it won't let me sign in. Oh, well.
The petition has gathered enough signatures to meet the 25,000 threshold. It's at 25,271 as of this post!
Who did Chris Dodd piss off?
He's an MPAA lobbyist, pushing SOPA and PIPA
So pretty much everybody, then.
So Fannie or Freddie wasn't big enough mess to ask for an inquiry, but mess with people's interwebs...
Amazing.

And that was long before his current gig as paid Hollywood stooge and influence pedlar. That just solidifies my already low opinion of the man*

The better question to ask is, who didn't Chris Dodd piss off?
The people who keep re-electing him, I reckon.
Kryzbyn wrote: The people who keep re-electing him, I reckon. Well, since he works for the MPAA now, no one has been re-electing him...
Yup, no longer an active member of the Senate. Just collects a six-figure retirement salary from the taxpayer plus whatever the MPAA is paying him to use his connections to push SOPA/PIPA through.

I have long disliked the Dodds from Connecticut. I went over to wikipedia to refresh my memory of why I disliked them and was reading the father's page. Between such fun factoids as his being a paid lobbyist for the Guatemalan dictatorship the US installed in the mid-'50s and his being censured by the Senate for campaign money peccadilloes, I read that he presided over the outlawing of LSD. Damn you, Dodd!
Apparently the White House (home of President Obama, head of the Executive Branch) can't comment on a petition to enforce/execute the law.

Wow. Thanks for nothing.
