Letting yourself be bull rushed from an ooze.

Rules Questions

So we are currently in combat with an ooze. A Death Trap Ooze has caught and Grappled my character. I, as an Archaeologist Bard, was curious to know if I could use Summon Monster I to summon a Pony and have it Bull Rush me out of the Ooze. I looked briefly for rules about Bull Rushing a Grapple but I'm currently in the combat. Appreciate any input.

For someone controlling the grapple:

Move: You can move both yourself and your target up to half your speed. At the end of your movement, you can place your target in any square adjacent to you. If you attempt to place your foe in a hazardous location, such as in a wall of fire or over a pit, the target receives a free attempt to break your grapple with a +4 bonus.

Might be better off using the summon to pull out something that can aid another or grapple as well to give you that +2 to break out.

You want your pony to help you break the ooze's grapple (p. 201), so that's what it has to do - make a combat maneuver against CMD 10 to Aid Another and give you a +2 bonus.

This question reminded me of another aspect of oozes: engulf. What if you cannot be pushed back or aside, e.g. due to allies blocking your path? What if you're standing in the middle of a line of PCs walking down a 5' wide corridor, when a gelatinous cube surges forth from a crack in the wall? Are you automatically pinned without a save? Or do you get a save and push everyone back, since you cannot move through allies in this case (5 ft. push, at least to my knowledge)?
