Alright, so I have an Oracle who will be going in as a possessed Oracle. Given the bonus you get for it, Two Minds, I was of the opinion that it was an entire other mind within the Oracle's. The DM seems to agree, but we have no idea where to go from there.
Is the spirit able to communicate to the Oracle? We're on an adventure path so it probably wouldn't be able to help much in the way of advice, but just having that voice in his head, with the DM controlling it of course, would make for interesting RP.
The DM is of the mind that at the level I am starting out at, the Oracle cannot speak with the spirit directly. However, as he gains levels and becomes more closely linked to the being communication opens up further and further.
It's his choice of course, and I'm not looking to argue because it actually sounds really interesting. I'm just trying to see if there is anything official maybe?

I mean the possession is purely fluff (meaning it lacks any mechanical consequences to it). The only things that go with the 'possession' are change of the bonus spells known and the two minds ability.
Now if you and your GM want to have a spirit to communicate to you then that's up to you, but mechanically there is nothing supporting it.

Nothing except the entire concept of it you mean? Geez.
Basically yes. Notice that no where in the write up does it say you have a spirit possessing you in any way -- it's simply called a possessed oracle. It requires you to take either the tongues or haunted curse, and replaces your level 1 revelation.
Mechanically that is all it does -- anything else is house rules or fluff.
With that said, there is nothing wrong with house rules or fluff (provided the house rules are stuff everyone is aware going into the game, yada yada yada). So if you and your GM want to do something more with it -- I'm certainly not going to tell you not to (In fact I do encourage it -- after all as it stands the current form is a bit lame). However if you want to know what the game mechanics of the situation are I will inform you that this is all it does from a mechanical perspective.

What Abraham means is that the mechanical writeup gives you a tremendous amount of latitude as to how to handle the character. Among the possibilities.
1.Extreme posession. What people think of the character, is actually the posessing spirit which has ruthlessly suppressed the native spirit of the body for reasons good, ill, or agenda-specific.
2.The Haunting voice. In this venue, the posessing spirit is nothing more than "a voice in my head". The other extreme from 1 is that the spirit never really vocalises but has more of an empathic connection to the body's native spirit.
Between 1 and 2 is a whole spectrum of posession.

Adam, I note that the write up does in fact say that the Oracle is possessed by a spirit, demon, or other such being. So... yeah...
