Can epic natural attacks overcome DR / magic?

The damage reduction rules say this: A few very powerful monsters are vulnerable only to epic weapons—that is, magic weapons with at least a +6 enhancement bonus. Such creatures' natural weapons are also treated as epic weapons for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

Does that mean that such a creature's natural attacks ONLY overcome DR/epic? Or can they also overcome DR/magic as well?

It may make the difference when I'm fighting DR/epic creatures (such as the tarrasque) while using form of the dragon III or armor of invulnerability.

I would think it would overcome DR/Magic.

An epic weapon is a weapon with at least a +6 enhancement bonus.
So your natural weapons are considered having at least a +6 enhancement bonus when it comes to overcoming damage reduction.

A +1 enhancement bonus is enough to overcome dr/magic.

Except they are not considered to have a +6 enhancement bonus, they are considered epic. A +6 weapon is considered epic, but an epic weapon is not necessarily considered a +6 weapon. See what I mean?

I don't see anything that specifically states that having your natural attacks treated as epic allows you to bypass DR/magic.

Another interesting question. Does that mean epic natural attacks also pierce other types of DR? I mean, at +3, +4, and +5, magic weapons pierce additional types of DR. Epic weapons are +6 or better, so if the natural attack is treated as a +6 weapon, but doesn't have the clause that it doesn't pierce additional DRs like the greater magic weapon spell does, would it too pierce other types of DR? Hmmm...

It looks like it does, at first glance, but this might be worth looking into a bit further.

No it doesn't. That's not what your quote says. Your question says that epic weapons have at least a +6 enhancement bonus.

That dash '-' indicates a specification of what was written before the dash. In this case, it specifies a characteristic of an epic weapon, mainly that it has a +6 or higher enhancement bonus.
