Hi I was just reading the bestiary and saw the skeletal champion.
Now i plan to play a Undead Lord in a game very soon.
Is there anything more on how to create these undead? Is it possibly to have one of these as a corpse companion as it is technically a variant skeleton at half hd?
Also It is said that in the skeleton section that these variants can be stacked does that work for Corpse Companion?
Also I'd love some input on other create undead spells/suggestions for different ones i can create. Obviously focusing on being able to just add a template to something as just having a generic undead I feel kinda robs you of the uniqueness of the animate dead/create undead spells. I mean if my character is hunting someone to thrall them in undead I want to feel like its worth it then spawning morgues from random peasant B.
Type of undead and spell needed to create it would work fantastically.
THanks all.

The book Undead Revisited has a nifty little table in the front about the additional requirements to make some undead. I don't remember all of them off the top of my head, but I do remember that JuJu zombie has animate dead and enervation.
I personally think that the JuJu zombie is absolutely great for a corpse companion. It keeps all it's special class abilities, and gains some nice powers too. Technically, variant zombies are still at your full HD (though you might want to check, and not argue too hard if your GM says no), so you basically have the awesomest cohort there ever was. I'd say find a cavalier or paladin/antipaladin to enslave. They usually have pretty good CHA and nice melee abilities, making them little juggernauts.

Thank you so much for that tip, i'll see if I can hunt down that book. I'm looking at libris mortis and wondering if copse crafter works for your corpse companion. that and Undead Master out of UM.
I'll see if I can take your advice on the Antipaladin/cavilier. And I'll ask my DM about the juju zombie.
Thanks IM INCREDIBLE!
Any other's who have advice i'd love to hear it. :)
