Question regarding beastiarys

Advice

Shadow Lodge

Hi I'm going to be Hosting a Pathfinder group soon. I have the core rule book but I dont have the money to buy the beastiary(sorry if its not spelled right). I still have my beastiary from dnd 3.5. Are they similar enough for me to just use my old beastiary. Would it be unbalanced. I dont care about organized play so that's not an issue for me. I have a beginner box so up until level 5 I have enemies to use. So its not really urgent.

The first two Bestiaries are available online here. No pretty pictures but all the stats you need for free.

Many of the 3.5 monsters are quite similar to Pathfinder monsters, but some of the abilities have changed. Shouldn't be game-breaking. You could always show the picture from the Monster Manual and use the stats from the PRD.

Thanks for the advice.

The Srd is more useful, the Prd is official. Take your pick
