I will be playing a Druid in an upcoming game. I have not played one since 3.5 and PF made a change that is so huge i am hoping the people on the boards know of a feat to help.
Pathfinder - Druid / animal companion
Share Spells (Ex)
The druid may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her animal companion (as a touch range spell) instead of on herself. A druid may cast spells on her animal companion even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion’s type (animal).
3.5 - Druid / animal companion
Share Spells (Ex)
At the druid’s option, she may have any spell (but not any spell-like ability) she casts upon herself also affect her animal companion. The animal companion must be within 5 feet of her at the time of casting to receive the benefit. If the spell or effect has a duration other than instantaneous, it stops affecting the animal companion if the companion moves farther than 5 feet away and will not affect the animal again, even if it returns to the druid before the duration expires.
That is a HUGE change! Anyone know of a feat in PF that lets a spell cast on you affect your companion at the sametime?

Improved share spells from the APG sounds like what you are talking about, but I never played 3.5 or any other tabletop for that matter.
Prerequisites: Spellcraft 10 ranks, ability to acquire an animal companion, eidolon, familiar, or special mount.Benefit: Any non-instantaneous spell (but not any spell-like ability) you cast on yourself can also affect a creature bonded to you (such as an animal companion, eidolon, familiar, or special mount). The creature must be within 5 feet of you at the time of casting to receive the benefit. The spell’s duration is halved between you and your bonded creature (for example, a spell with a duration of 1 hour has a duration of 30 minutes for both you and your bonded creature).
If the spell or effect has a duration other than instantaneous, it stops affecting the creature if it moves farther than 5 feet away from you. It does not affect the creature again if it returns before the duration expires. You may share spells in this fashion even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of that type. This feat only applies to animal companions, eidolons, familiars, or special mounts gained through a class feature.
Kinda steep prerequisite after seeing that you got it for free in 3.5, but if I remember correctly I remember reading that druid used to be OP to a certain extent.

I should read before i type... guess that would not work for healing as it is an instant spell. hmmm...

Thanks... i appreciate it. It very close, as I was looking for a way to conserve my healing spells and that will do it.
Yea but its level 11 at the earliest that you could get it and by then it seems that in combat healing is really suboptimal. Plus CLW wands are probably the most cost-effective thing I have ever seen . . . Ever. Sometimes makes designing encounters difficult because the party is always at full health.

True that. My character concept is LN Druid with the personal code of the strongest survive. I don't plan on healing the group alot and am going to be a melee combat druid focus wildshape and boost spells for me and my companion.
* as a player I very seldom use wands, scrolls or potions - I always forget i have them (until someone reminds me...lol).
I have not played Druids in PF before and am finding it hard to wrap my head around all the major changes... i caught this one by accident and did a double take. I thought the Wild Shape change was major?
I found an easy way into Nature Warden PRC without taking Ranger levels. Going to do a World Walker archetype that gives Favored Terrain to Druids.
