Looking for GM and Players for PFS

I'm currently seeking out players and a GM willing to run a PFS PBP. I've never been fortunate enough to be able to actually play in a Society game and I've been looking forward to doing so for some time. If there are any GMs out there who'd be willing to run a long-time Pathfinder, first-time Society player through some scenarios, please apply here. And if you're simply a player willing to run alongside (whether to show me the ropes or learn them yourselves) feel free to pipe up as well.

I'm also quite interested to play in this. I don't think there is a PFS lodge within at least a thousand miles from where I live, so PbP seems to be the best option for me to try out organized play.

I would be interested in DMing but not sure if I will be able to find the time as I am already running 5 and in 6 :) But if no one else wants to DM I will gladly.

I would certainly be interested in playing, but have no experience with pbp, and so feel disinclined to GM.

Its good to see some interest in this. I think there's a lodge near me, but my hours are so wonky that I don't have time to get together with anyone. Plus PBP is the most gas-efficient way to game anyhow. -chuckles-

I would be interested in PFS, I have also had no luck getting my schedule to mesh with the local PFSers.

It looks like the only thing I need is the pathfinder field guide I believe it's called, which I'll pick up the PDF of this weekend. As far as adventure, considering you haven't played, I assume level 1? And if so any particular adventure you had in mind? I believe the First Steps are a good intro (I did them at Gencon 2011 and enojyed them).

I'll get the recruitment post up this weekend and you 6 have first picks (I need to figure out how to do this stuff on here as well as far as GM administration). This'll be the first PBP I run as well so please bear with me as we go.

If it goes well, I very well might start a 2nd group for anyone else interested. Also any advice is appreciated (I recall there being a topic somewhere discussing how to set up games on here I'll have to find).

I will as well. I'm active duty military so I may or may not be able to get my idea up tomorrow, but I already have a few in mind. Would like to know what everyone else is planning though before I go completely stir crazy with a concept. I'll post a couple ideas up to make up for it though.

And First Steps works just fine for me. Might as well start with the newest season.

And, before I forget, I don't mind if its your first time GMing PFS as its my first time playing. Thank you for volunteering and stepping up.

I would also like to join. It seems like almost all of my games have dried up since the holiday seasons and I'm not sure what is going on.

I am, however, deployed in Afghanistan at the moment, so occasionally, (like this week) just do not have internet access for short periods, unexpectantly.

I have a few characters made, one I would like to use (need to return it to PFS legal.

I had been running a PFS Silent Tide game, but no activity in a while so I am going to cancel it officially now.

I have not played any games, but have DM'd Silent Tide enough that I think I do not qualify for it (if that matters). I am fairly familiar with the PFS rules, and have access to nearly every book, though it may take me some time to open them, (deployed).

I'd like to join, I'm Very interested in doing pathfinder society, but I already DM for a campaign and there are no other games going in my area or at least no society. Also since I never get to play, it'd be nice. As long as the posters were frequent, I hate slloooooowwww posting where people only manage like one post a day.
