Anyone else having this problem with books?

Customer Service

Okay this may seem a bit stupid but does anyone have a waving problem with their book pages? Here is a link with a picture of my book.

Does anyone know why this is happening to me? I know its merely cosmetic but its annoying this is also happening with my 4e books. I hear its from the binding process.

If you need any more pictures let me know.

I want to say some of mine are the same way, but I'd have to check and I'm away from home for the holidays.

Most my books are and not just paizo books. My be the humidity in your home.

Hmmm this is weird. I don't think its humidity though. I hear its the book binding company, not Paizo. Anyone else having this problem.

Do you happen to have both newer and older books by paizo? IIRC the old binding company (in the 3.5 days) this was sometimes a problem, but I haven't heard it on the newer books. High humidity or storing near a heater/radiator can do this

EDit: didn't relize it was the hardcovers... those go through a different company than the softcovers, but again I've only seen this on pages I've spilt something on

I've got it to at least a small extent with Paizo hardcovers ranging from the first printing of the Core Rulebook to Bestiary 3, although for some of them it isn't too noticable and may not be there at all. None of my 3.5 WotC books (IIRC) have this sort of issue, although it is present in my newly-purchased copy of the Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary.

I've actually never seen a soft cover wave.... No matter the books all my LotR books, 4e, and modules/supplements aren't like this.

But anyways, anyone have a solution? Its irritating me...

It looks like humidity getting into the ink (known as fluting) this usually happens during delivery of the book. from what I can see, normal first course of action is to put the book under a heavy wight for a few days to see if it straightens the pages out.

Okay I'm attempting to press the books I hope it helps. I need some silica gel too.

Would I put silica gel inside the books or just around it?
