Is there somewhere in Golarion that is the equivalent of Hawaii or Polynesia? It certainly hasn't much been covered in the Inner Sea World Guide, at least not that I have found. Would it be beyond the Inner Sea?
I imagine it would be in some of the island cultures off the coasts of Tien Xia and Sarusan. There is ample room for something like Polynesia in Golarion.

I agree with William, somewhere north of and off the eastern shores of Vudra, and south by southeast of Tien Xia.
If you want to make it easier to get to from The Inner Sea region just make an ocean current or gulf stream or something that flows from Holomog straight to the islands. If the winds and the current go perfectly and smooth lots of ships will use it.
The islands could have a very assimilated Western feel and be the Jalmeray of the east -- a touch of the West in the east like Jalmeray is a touch of the East in the west.

I don't see much Avistani (if that is the correct term) in a Polynesia area -- the culture is likely more traditional. But there could easily be a few odd spots, say where some elves, dwarves or gnomes ended up, another lost Taldan expedition, as well as some people from Tien Xia and elsewhere who could have ended up there.

Well, real world migration has shown that the early Polynesian migration came from Southeast Asia through Melanesia into what would become the Polynesian islands. The apparent center of Polynesia would be Tahiti or Samoa. Then migratory patterns spread from Tahiti to the three corners of the triangle.
So if it is paralleled in Golarion, it would be somewhere between Avistan and Tian Xia.

There's a fair amount of Polynesia in Minata (also known as the Wandering Isles) of southeastern Tian Xia; this region is detailed more in "Dragon Empires Gazetteer."
There's also a Hawaai analog, but it's over in the Arcadia region of the world. AKA: Quite far away from both the Inner Sea and the Dragon Empires.

Thanks James! So would Minata be where the Philippines' equivalent might be?
Yup; the island chain that forms Minata (the Wandering Isles) actually extends quite a bit further south than the southernmost edge of the Tian Xia map as well... so there's more stuff going on off the map as well.

I lived in the Philippines for a while ... Minata totally reminds me of Mindanao, the big Muslim island in the southern Phil, kind of Indonesian but with it's own unique flavor.
