Hello there. I'm new to the boards and still fairly new to tabletop gaming in general (I only have just over half a year of rp experience under my belt.)
Anyway I just joined an online PbP Pathfinder homebrew game and have already submitted my basic character concept for the game, a TWF rogue (scout archetype). I've talked with the other three players already and learned that they'll be playing a sword 'n board paladin, a wizard, and a cleric (patron unknown atm).

MAGIC ITEMS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -
I'll be playing the role of the team's scout and flanker so I'm going for a fast, stealthy build. (Kind of like an assassin without the evil req.) I've got a basic layout of how I want my character to pan out up to level 16 (where I think we'll be ending the adventure), but is there any feat or talent that I may have overlooked or could switch out that would make her more effective in her role?
Also, items to look out for as well, can't forget that.

Note: Yes, yes, I know Shadowdancer is not an 'optimal class' to do more than a dip into, or so I've heard anyway, but I find it thematic and I like most of the abilities it has to offer. Anyway, any advice would be helpful, thanks.
(I'll check the thread in the morning. 'S getting late over here.)
Edit: Bleh, formatting goof on the sheet, sorry. Dunno how to fix that.

with a higher charisma (oir just a good item) you could take the eldritch heritage feats, for 3 feats: Skill focus: stealth, Eldritch Heritage (Umbral), and Improved Eldritch Heritage for (by 11th level) a +5 to stealth for 5round, 5 times per day (from EH), as well as effectively Hide in plain sight and Shadow jump 1/day. Awlso 3 feats for the core abilitioes of a prestige class is a pretty good trade, especially considering the feat reqs on Shadow dancer.
As a seperate note, be warned that you will really suck until 2nd level. a +1 to attack for a melee character is aweful. By 2nd lebvel it should be fine, but tjhat first one will be a b#~!&.
I'd Also recomend agile weapons as soon as you can get them!

Thanks for the advice so far, guys.
Those are great stats. I'd switch the int and wis scores with the str and con scores. You'll end up in plenty of melee, and dishing out and sucking up damage when you're not getting your sneak attack damage will be important. Your int and wis will still be above average, so no great loss there
Yeah, our GM allowed a 20 point buy with no scaling. Unfortunately, my stats are already locked in, so no switching them around and since I'm also the skill monkey of the group I though it'd be a good idea to put emphasis into those two traits over the combat traits which the other players should have covered. I can see where you're coming from though, Espada, and that's probably a newbie mistake on my part. I'll just have to play more carefully in melee and stick close to the paladin.

Those feats look really cool, Gwyrd, and would be a decent substitute for the Shadowdancer class, but I don't think I could easily reconcile my character having eldritch blood into the background I've already made for her.
As a separate note, be warned that you will really suck until 2nd level. a +1 to attack for a melee character is awful. By 2nd level it should be fine, but that first one will be a b&~@~.

Yes, it'll be a slog through first level, but at least its only first level, it'll hopefully go by quickly. I tried to minimize the 'uselessness' of my character, but feat juggling ended up with a mediocre level 1. *shrug* Hopefully, using a crossbow will compensate for that (at least for a little while) until I can get my feet underneath me, metaphorically speaking.
And yes, agile enchantments are on my 'wish list'. Question: Can you place an enchantment on a weapon as an upgrade or do they need to be placed during creation? Silly question, but I want to be sure.
