So I have just taken my first step into the world of Pathfinder Society.
I have played through 1 Scenario with a pregen character and found it quite enjoyable. So I decided to create an actual character and truly enter this new strange world. In 3.5 I was always fond of the Wizard class so that is my first character.
Personally I have played 3.5 in many years, but have only the one played scenario for experience in Pathfinder.
So my question is this: What should i be prepared for? What ought i read through. Is there a good guide(apart from the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play)? If you have a good tip I would appreciate it :)

I believe there was a recent post referencing the location, but Painlord has a couple of advice threads for what to expect in Pathfinder Society play, and when/how to be prepared.
For instance, if you have the space available, you might want to make sure you have Burning Hands in your spell list.
Other things to think about:
Obtaining a Wand of Cure Light Wounds or Infernal Healing
Alchemist's Fire
Tanglefoot Bags
Potion of Cure Light Wounds
Melee weapon, ranged weapon
Consider spells that are useful at low levels, but also think about spells you might still want to use at 12th level.
Sleep is very short in usefulness, Color Spray might be a better choice.
Grease is a spell that can offer benefits right up to retirement.
An early wand of Magic Missile could give you a backup attack for several scenarios, probably up until you have a useful number of spells and more than one missile in your own castings, really.
Benefits: No to-hit roll, no save, force effect so bypasses DR & hardness
Drawbacks: only 1d4+1 damage, affected by SR
As your level goes up, there are more things needed, but you get more options, too.
Remember that the Chronicle you got for playing the pregen can be applied to your new character as his/her first chronicle.
Welcome to PFS, hope you enjoy your stay!

Go to Painlord's Guide
It's a great place to start for newbies, and a good refresher for veterans.

Thanks, ThornDJL7.
Mr. Diviner, while I hope you enjoy the "What to Expect" post, but if you're looking for the bigger picture with PFS, I'd recommend this thread:
"What We Teach New PFS Players"
It's much more meta and focuses the really important parts of PFS play.
Hope you enjoy the society.

Thank you Painlord. The suggestions of that Guide is all quite sensible. Though for someone like me, whom has played different roleplaying games for 15 years on and off, they are more or less given.
But they do give a quite clear picture on what is expected from players. That I can use to give myself a general idea of how prepared I ought to be for PS.
But all such can of course change when I have a better picture of my locale "environment".
