I am thinking of running the Witchfire Trilogy in Pathfinder, and I was wondering what region of Golarion would be the best fit for it? It features a lot of steampunk elements like firearms (it was Iron Kingdoms) and I believe it culminates in a massive battle between armies sporting advanced technologies. Anything like that fit easily? Anyone ever done this before?

Well first of all, let's not let it go unsaid that you'd be better off porting the rules to the Iron Kingdoms, rather than the Iron Kingdoms to the rules.
But if it must be set in Golarion, I'd suggest somewhere in Varisia, perhaps Magnimar itself standing in for Corvis. Or even Andoran, as imo they're a natural analogue for Cygnar.
The more important questions you'll have to answer once you figure out which city in Golarion will be your Corvis:
Who is your Vinter Raelthorne going to be? Your choices need to allow for your baddie to be making the same choices/actions as the deposed evil king does in the written story.
Who are your Skorne going to be? See above. If your 'Vinter' can't find Skorne in Golarion, who are his allies of convenience going to be? I'd suggest an army of drow, but there's lots of other good choices. Perhaps a war-horde of orkish screamers from Belkzen.
Who are your 'Orgoth' going to be? (for purposes of making the background of Witchfire itself. I'd suggest the Thassilonian practicioners of Sin Magic, which also lends to a Varisian setting quite nicely)
What/how to have standins for steamjacks is the easiest of your problems.. big lumbering things can have many forms, using/inventing a form of lesser golems is the quickest/dirtiest.
