Flurrying after dipping one monk level

Rules Questions

Just want to be sure I have this right. If I'm a monk 1/Ftr 6, then I can EITHER do a full-round attack at +7/+2, OR I can flurry as a FRA for +5/+5/+1?

The whole "Monk BAB is sometimes +1" thing is confusing me a little.

Your monk BAB is only treated as "full" in certain situations. Unless specifically stated as such for the situation at hand, it's still the printed (3/4) BAB.

So for a monk1/fighter6, you have a BAB of +6, all of which is from your fighter levels. This allows you to full-attack at +6/+1.

If you choose to Flurry, your BAB from your monk level is then treated as +1 instead of +0 for purposes of that Flurry. Adding in the -2 penalty included in the Flurry rules, you can then full-attack at +5/+5/+0.
