Hello all,
I've just rolled a character with the intent of trying out the net adept line of feats, and I was wondering if there was any errata or such regarding chain nets. I was essentially seeking to find a net that's harder to sunder out of and thought I would buy a mithral or adamantine net, but nowhere in the description of a net does it say what it's made out of, so I don't know that one can be made out of the exotic metals.

I see no reason to assume the net in the equipment section is made of metal, and there is no alternate "chain net" in the game. The weights are probably metal, but making those out of adamantine wouldn't help with sundering in any conceivable way.
Your best bet is a magic net. In the latest errata, you get +2 hardness and 10 hitpoints per plus. Still pretty sunderable, but the only option I can think of.

The nets within the weapon section are metal. They are much like those used by gladiators. You can totally have mithral, adamantine, or cold iron nets.
I beg to differ, since the net in the equipment section (core book) does not have a hardness rating, like something made of metal would.

Well looking at damaging objects a net is similar to a chain. A net has 5 hp and break DC 25, a chain has 5 hp, 10 hardness and break DC 26. So I would guess it is iron, though probably smaller links than the chain listed, so slightly easier to break.
Also, Vuvu, adamantine is not any heavier than steel but it is tougher. Twice as hard with a 33% increase in hp. So the break DC for an adamantine net would be... quite high.
Edit* Oh Vuvu was going off a chain net being different from a "net net." So never mind, that shouldn't be targeted at you.
