Video Games

What are everybodies favorite video games to install mods for? What are your favorite mods?

Personally, I like the Battlefield and Total War games for this, though do to space issues I currently have only Empire: Total War installed.

Currently, I have the American Revolution mod, Sturm Und Drang 2, Empire Total Factions, and two Civil War mods (The Blue and the Grey and The Startpos Civil War Mod, which is a campaign add-on for The Blue and the Grey) installed for Empire: Total War. The first three are interesting, and the other two are absolutely essential. Total War: The American Civil War? I cannot not have it, as this is pretty much the most fascinating time period ever (IMO). The fact that both mods are very well done is an added bonus.

What about you guys?

NWN1 and Freedom Force 1 and 2

Dark Archive

Fallout 3 (and New Vegas)
Originally ran with some very heavy mods for FO3, but I kept getting corrupted saves from various conflicts so I had to go back to the drawing board and reinstall with only a few mods.

Marts Mutant mod (several new creatures, plenty of variants plus you can increase spawns and number of creatures)

Project Reality (adds weather effects, rain, snow, etc - which is just great)

GNR enhanced (several extra tracks to the GNR radio station, great add. Some 70-80 new tracks plus some commercials from the Fallout universe – vault tech, pip boy, etc. Big Town and Buttons and Bows fit very thematically with the game.)

Apocalypse Armory (whole slew of weapons and armor plus weapon effects)

Weapon Mods (add scopes, extra clip capacity, etc to weapons)

Craft (adds some schematic options)

FLAK (New locations for the map, some new hideouts and encounter areas)

DC Interiors (Makes some otherwise empty buildings ones you can now enter with new encounters, very cool)

CONELRAD Radio - new Atomic based radio - PSA's, atom and hydrogen bomb rock songs from the 50's and some good anti-commie propaganda songs from the era)

Had to drop FOOK 2, great mod but made the game unplayable. Same with Wanderer's edition (made the game much harder). It's too bad because I really liked FOOK, just don't think it was tested very much.

I will have to check these out when I get a new gaming computer.

I do not have a powerful enough pc for playing modded games. But when I do get a new pc the list shall be the following:

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (for just messing around)
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Fallout 3
