In a Pahfinder version of Hiccup, what would be the best class to approximate him?

Summoner (Toothless as the Eidolon)?
Ranger (Toothless as Animal Companion)?
Cavalier (Toothless as Mount)?
Something else?

Expert with leadership to get Toothless as a mount for an NPC. As a PC, I'd probably go with rogue, again taking leadership to gain the dragon cohort. Hiccup wasn't a spellcaster nor a front line combatant, so a skill based class he should be.

Beast Rider

Ranger with favored enemy: dragon and Ki rin style. He uses his brains and knowledge of dragonkind to gain an advantage over them, even if it isn't the stereotypical hatred that most rangers use to describe their bonuses.
