The Modern Path 2.0 SRD

Product Discussion

The Modern Path SRD is now posted on the Grand OGL Wiki found at:

http://grandwiki.wikidot.com/main

A big thank you to the crew at Grand OGL Wiki for all their hard work.

BTW - The rules are 100% OGL and free for anyone to use to build any supplements, settings, etc.

We hope we have a solid set of core rules to get the ball rolling, and we encourage others in expanding on them.

Also now at... http://www.d20modernpf.com!

This is the same site that was originally in place for 1.0 but it took some time to get the 2.0 rules updates fully integrated. Big thanks to Game Room Creations for voluntarily sending us the PDF of the new rules when they were released. We have linked as much content as possible to d20pfsrd.com where appropriate to make playing in and running games using this system more convenient. Thanks!

Note: We are still in the "polishing it up" phase so a few links may not go where intended, or, may not fully indicate if they are "external" links (ie, those that hop over to d20pfsrd.com that is.)

It looks great, thank you so much for all your hard work!

No problem Kevin. We are always pleased to get up more OGC regardless of the system for which its been developed.

Thank you both, you did a wonderful job and a great help for everyone!

No offense but your website is quite painful to use. The "links" aren't even links and you can't even copy and paste the text from the page to your address bar. I'm not sure why your web dev insists on using flash for a site that doesn't use any animation or special effects Flash offers.

Specific issues:

  • I can't link directly to your contact "page" because its not a separate page.
  • I can't click your email address on your contact "page" to email you.
  • I can't copy and paste your email address to an email client to email you.
  • I can't copy text from ANY page because its not text.

My humble suggestion would be to ditch flash since its not providing any benefit, but that's your call of course.

Anyway, just my 2 cents.

Thank you for the website input, and I do understand your concerns, but we are a very small start up and everything is done in house. Our web developer only does flash and made the site as a favor to us.

I have tried to edit the site myself, but I have zero Flash skills, so that is why there are no hyperlinks. I am sorry it is difficult to navigate, but we have to use the tools and talents that we have available to us.

I am sorry if the website causes too much frustration, but at this time it is the best we can provide.

I could have a site up for you in 10 minutes that costs you 0 to maintain and that you could easily edit. Use Google Sites like we use for d20pfsrd.com. Anyway, glad to be able to help with the SRD but I think you should examine other website options.

Great idea, I will look into it later this week. Thank you for the input and all the great work on the SRD site!

I prefer "freestuffthatdoesn'tstinkpimp" but I admit it's a bit long.
