Divine Sacrifice in PF

Rules Questions

Hey all,

If this question has been answered than I apologize and please direct me to the proper post.

Has PF taken out the Divine Sacrifice spell from Paladins? I believe it does an additional +5d6 damage per attack at the cost of 10 damage per round, with no ability to turn it off once it has been cast. So if it lasts three rounds, that's 30 damage the the character by the time the spell ends.

I know that people in the past had a problem with it being OP but I found it to be quite balanced, especially because it's quite suicidal in most of my old 3.5 games. My Paladin player had no problem nearly killing himself almost every combat.

Thanks

I haven't seen it in pathfinder anywhere.

One significant problem I can see in using it in pathfinder, is the fact that the paladin can use lay on hands on himself as a swift action.

While this does drain a limited ressources, it most certainly lessens the risk of the spell significantly.
