If a defeated creature gives 600 xp, is that xp divided among the pcs or for each one? Thanks.

Actually, it could be either one. Pathfinder provides 2 different ways to distribute XP. Scroll down to Experience Point Rewards.

The Total XP/Exact XP method is divided equally among all players, while the Individual XP/Abstract XP method the players each get that amount.

So is that 600 XP a CR 2 creature using the Exact XP method, or a CR 6 using the Abstract XP method with 4 characters?

I'm running the Jade Regent AP and they're in Brinestump Marsh. The Sinspawn is the only combat so far. I'm going by the AP, with a few twists. This has just barely been started.
