I've searched for a good 3 hours now and can't find this asked or answered anywhere.
If the synthesist's Eidolon can swap out his stats, and he can remain in that form...permanently...do the new physical stats qualify him for feats that relay on them?
Direct example, in the most power gaming sense of the question, Power attack?
The summoner has a strength of less then 13, the Eidolon has more then 13. Since they can fuse together does this mean the summoner has the ability to take the power attack feat, as he can choose to stayed fused indefinately?

As Neil says, not a PFS question.
But Jason has pretty much laid this one to rest, here.

Apologies if this topic is placed in the wrong category, it was after all my first post.
I put it in the PFS section as it is in regards to direct rulings for a PFS character. If it needs to be moved, please recommend a venue for the topic next time.
I did not catch that post Dennis, thank you. After reading the link I still am curious as to how this applies to the fused eidolon with the summoner. The duration is as long as the summoner is awake.
I am not trying to argue the point in favor, but hoping to point out a slight differences in this ability and those of other x per day abilities.

No worries, it will be moved tomorrow I'm certain, and welcome to the forums.
As far as I know the summoner has to qualify for any feats he takes without help from his eidolon.
You can also check the FAQ for other Synthesist related info (there is a bunch). This specific topic isn't covered but a lot of other ideas are.

I did run across those and alot of them were very helpful, cleared up some other questions I was curious about.
It also seems that the biggest flavored fondue pot is this archtype, or at least according to the boards, and makes me ponder whether or not I should bother with the summoner tank idea I had for a PFS character.
Thanks again for the helpful guidance Dennis.
