So Pathfinder Society has finally managed to come to my little home town in Australia, and I have volunteered to help out the Venture Captain here with DMing the first event, the Beginner Bash. Since this is the first event and I have never run a game outside my home before, nor any Pathfinder Society scenarios, I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Mainly best way to prepare for it, and any tips to maximise fun,? Especially with the absolute new comers who are bound to be attending. Thanks.

The adventures provided are pretty straight forward so if you have GM'd you should have an easy time. Just remember its beginner box so stuff like CMD & CMB do not exist (you can also cast melee touch attacks without provoking). Also the maps with each one are from the map packs (I don't remember which ones) are small and easy to draw so if you don't have the map packs its only a couple of minutes to draw out each one.

If the players are new to RPGs, then you'll have an easier time. They'll be following your lead, basically.
As always, READ READ READ the adventure before running it. In a regular published module, you'll want to prepare for certain rules and do some referencing in the core rules before running. However, the Beginner Box materials are pretty straightforward, present the rules right there for you, and walk you through pretty much exactly what you should do. (I have not seen the Beginner Bash modules but I assume they're in the same style as the intro adventure in the BB boxed set.)
