PFS incorrect faction

I ran into the same bug on the web site recently. If you click on your character, then click "edit" to change things, your faction isn't shown as something you can change.

However, if you go to your main Pathfinder Society page, where it has "My Characters" and a list, then you can click "edit" without going into the character first, and the factions will show up for you to change yours.

Yeah, it's kind of a silly, roundabout method you have to go through to change the faction:

Go to "My Account".

Find the box about Pathfinder Society, which will say (among other things) "You have [#] Pathfinder Society characters" and has a link to "Click here to make changes". Click it.

You'll see a list of characters, each with its own "edit" link. Click the appropriate one.

Here you'll be able to change the character's faction. But even if you still have trouble, don't worry! The online registration is, interestingly, less official than your chronicle sheets.
