Looking For Pathfinder Gaming Society Around Evansville IN

Hey everyone. I was hoping to locate some pathfinder groups around the Evansville/Boonville area in southern Indiana. If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm trying to get together a group too...look for other "Evansville" posts with my name. email me.

Currantly trying to start The Serpent's Skull

Scarab Sages 5/5

What gaming stores are in the area? That'd be a bit of a haul for us Indy PFS people to make the long haul down there, but we still might be able to figure something out with the owners.

It's only a 3-1/2 to 4 hour drive to Urbana, one way. You're welcome to join us :-)

If you are looking to group-up with some players, THIS is a listing for a home-based PFS game. Maybe those players can help you round up a group.

There a comic store called "Comic Quest" Next to Rural King on East Morgan Ave. I use to go there till my group disband. If I could get at least three people (4 including me) to schedule a time there, I'd be willing to be the GM. (for the Serpent's Skull)

Uverus, Duskblade...I'm willing work out a time.

That sounds great. Currently my job is 3rd shift on the weekdays, but Saturday and Sunday are open. i'm still getting familiar with the area, but let me know if there is a place were we can all get together and meet up.

As much as i would like to, a 4 hour drive is a little difficult to manage, especially with gas prices the way they are. I really will try to find a group if I can though. Thanks again for the offers, and try to stay in touch.

lol, i wish there was a phone number listed so i could contact them and ask them if it would be okay for me to show up. After all, it is someone's private home after all, and I'd hate to show up unannounced and uninvited.

Sorry I kinda forgot about this thread. Would you be willing to GM, Duskblade? I'm thinking if we can coordinate a game with Comic Quest and we have a GM they'd probably be willing to put up a posting or something. I figured we could make a flyer and ask them to print it off. If we don't have a local GM then this would be pretty tricky. It'd be cool to have a monthly event though if there was enough interest. I know at least one person in the area who is a potential player and maybe his wife too.

Yea, I'll actually see if I can swing by Comic Quest sometime and get more details their. Currently my work has been messing around with my days off, so it's been hard figuring out my free time yet. I'm actually a very good GM (or so I have been told), and I"m also pretty open with ideas about characters and such. I will be the first to admit that I am by no means an EXPERT on every class and such, but I feel I do a pretty good job all the same.

As I said, I'll try to make my way over to Comic Quest sometime during this week and try to post something, but if you like, feel free to e-mail me or contact me on my facebook page and we can try to work something out.

I posted the following on another thread asking about Pathfinder Games... Incidentally, I placed a paper on the bulletin board at Comic Quest. I run all my games at my place - better resources - less distraction. I have two people that are certain and a third that is a maybe. It will be first come - first served, but I will work to get as many games rolling as I can.

Other post: Asked if there are any Games in Eville -

Short answer: Yes. I am starting a game.

Yes, I have room for up to 3 people.

I will be running the Pathfinder Adventure Paths beginning with the "Serpent's Skull" series once I have a populated group.
If anyone would like more information on this series feel free to check it out on my blog at http://www.aetherealplane.com/border/?page_id=154 - Or right here on Paizo's own page. My email and info is on the blog, however.

There is a link to the free overview of the series which Paizo publishes and maintains all rights to.

I am also laboring to put together a chapter here in Evansville for I know for a fact that at least one other game exists here in town. However, the fellow running that game may not be interested in posting for more folks; he may not be well known. Ideally we can find some 40 or 50 people in the region to allow people that like to have different DMs from time to time to move about and discover the richness of gaming with folks having the most in common with themselves.

Update to the earlier post(s)

We are playing down at the Comic Quest on Thursday nights from 6PM till 9PM. It is coming along, slowly, but that is better than not at all. we have 4 of us playing and others are asking about the games so it looks good. At the moment we are going through "The Smuggler's Shiv" which is part one of the "Serpent's Skull" series. I plan to do modules until we can get enough folks to run Pathfinder Society tables. Three of us are DMs so we got the start we just need the numbers.

Liberty's Edge

I may be moving temporarily to the Evansville area in a month or so and would love to play in some PFS games.

Are you still meeting?

Thanks!

Also, check out this: http://www.meetup.com/tristategaming/

Meetup.com is how I found out about PFS in Colorado.

Figured I'd bump this post up to let everyone know that the search is still on for anyone looking to get a pathfinder group together. :P
