If my character is an Oread who has a racial bonus of acid resistance 5 if I were to buy a ring of resistance(acid(10)) would the two stack to give me acid resistance 15 or would it just be the higher value the ring giving me acid resistance 10?
It would be 10. Same type bonus don't stack unless they are dodge bonuses or untyped bonuses from different sources.
