Good evening. I was looking at making some 'anti-ki' stuff, aimed primarily at the Magus, Vanguard, Inquisitor, and Damascarran.
My first thought was a feat chain, but then I was concerned that ki using foes are not common enoigh that someone would spend one feat on it, much less two or three. So then I thought about items, but I don't know what the costs would be balanced.
So I turned to the boards.
Here are the three 'tiers' I thought of.
Ki Draining - On a successful critical hit, the target loses X amount of ki (figure caster attribute mod if a feat, enhancement bonus if a weapon)
Ki Drinking - Attacker gains back 1 point of Ki for every two points drained. (same mechanic as above for how much the target loses.)
Ki Disrupting.. Target takes 1d6 points of damage per 2 points of ki lost. (same mechanic, draining and disrupting can't be used at once.
I also had the thought of a monk having a 'calming touch' to remove rounds of rage from a barbarian's pool.
